Oksana Akinsjina

Oksana was born in St. Petersburg in 1987. Oksana started her acting career with one of the leading parts in Syostry or Sisters (directed by Sergei Bodrov Jr.), that was a big success in Russian cinemas in 2001. The film was selected for Venezia International Film Festival and has later been distributed in several countries, including Scandinavia. Sisters is available on DVD with English subtitles and can be ordered from this site. In 2001 she was also participating in the film In Movement. After that she's played in several Russian and international films. She even had a small part in the Hollywood-production "The Bourne Supremacy".

Oksana has appreciated to work with Lukas despite that the part as Lilja at times were very hard to play: «Lukas helped me a lot, and we worked out the solutions to the problems together», she explains.
